Campers spell out Sanford Rec
Skills for Life and Memories that are endless!
Summer Day Camp is for children Kindergarten-12 years old. Our camp will help build character and allows the kids to express themselves as individuals. We promote social skills, confidence and resilience. The program runs Mon. Jun 22 - Fri. Aug 7. No Camp on Friday, July 3. We will be using school facilities as well as church facilities. Camp runs rain and shine.
Camp times have changed this year and will run 8am to 5pm.  This is to help meet Maine state guidelines on small group numbers.
The state guidelines also highly encourage social distancing, so our staff is working hard on creative, fun and new games for our campers that involve 6 feet of physical distance.  When that distance cannot occur, campers MUST wear a mask,  Activities may include music, movies, individual crafts, theatre, cheer leading, dancing, environment (including walks and hikes), magic, story hours, canoe/kayaking (age dependent), a variety of interesting educational activities, as well as swimming for all age campers.  Staff to camper ratio is 1/8. Staff range in age 15-25 yrs old. Children must be potty trained. Our Staff is not trained for working with children with highly social, emotional, and behavioral needs including children affected by autism spectrum disorders.

Must pay $300 at time of registration.  Remaining balance by July 9
