April, August, December and February Vacation Weeks
Vacation Day Camp is a program for school age children which runs the length of a vacation week when school is not in session. Campers are kept safe and busy with a variety of activities that will include: Lego's, games, arts and crafts, sports, field trips, movies, and just plain fun. Dates and times vary depending on the vacation weeks, but all vacation camps will be held at the CJL Gym.
The state guidelines also highly encourage social distancing as well as mask wearing, so our staff is working hard on creative, fun and new games for our campers that involve 6 feet of physical distance. When that distance cannot occur, campers MUST wear a mask, Activities may include music, movies, individual crafts, theatre, cheer leading, dancing, environment (including walks and hikes), magic, story hours, canoe/kayaking (age dependent), a variety of interesting educational activities, as well as swimming for all age campers. Staff to camper ratio is 1/6. Staff range in age 15-25 yrs old. Children must be potty trained. Our Staff is not trained for working with children with highly social, emotional, and behavioral needs including children affected by autism spectrum disorders.
If Schools go into the RED Zone for Covid we will not be able to hold camp.
